International law firm DAC Beachcroft has announced a collaboration with Hong Kong practice, Oldham Li and Nie (OLN) to expand its reach and services throughout Asia.
Hong Kong based law firm OLN specialises in re/insurance, corporate & commercial, dispute resolution, employment & immigration, IP, tax and private client work.
DAC Beachcroft Managing Partner, David Pollitt, said; “We are pleased to have formalised this new collaboration with OLN, a firm with deep local and sector knowledge and with which we share a commitment to our clients.
“Driven by client demand, this goes beyond simply cross-referrals; the new arrangement will enable us to provide comprehensive legal solutions for our multi-national clients in this important region for our business. We look forward to working with them.”
DAC Beachcroft’s Singapore-based Insurance Partner, Steven Dewhurst will lead the collaboration together with Greg Crichton and Adelina Wong for OLN.
All three have extensive experience in the Asia re/insurance sector and Hong Kong insurance regulatory environment.
Gordon Oldham, Senior Partner of OLN, said; “Closely collaborating with DAC Beachcroft and its market leading insurance and reinsurance practice is a tremendous development for OLN.
“It brings together a heavyweight team led jointly by Steven, Greg and Adelina who share a profound knowledge of the Asian insurance and reinsurance sector and close client relationships in both Hong Kong and throughout the Asia Pacific region.”
This is latest insurance-focused international expansion by DAC Beachcroft after the firm agreed a new association last month with Argentina’s López Saavedra Villarroel Abogados – expanding its reach into 11 separate jurisdictions in Latin America.
