Great American Insurance Group has promoted Elizabeth B. Leaird and Kenneth B. Patrick to the role of Divisional President, effective January 3, 2023.
Leaird will lead the Equine Mortality Division, whereas Patrick will lead the AgriBusiness Division.
They both succeed Jeffrey A. Cruey, who will retire in March 2023 after 11 years of service with the company.
Leaird joined Great American’s Equine Mortality Division in 1995, and has since served in a variety of underwriting leadership positions within the division, ultimately serving as Divisional Vice President.
In 2017, she joined the AgriBusiness team, where she assumed leadership responsibility for the Equine Farm operations.
Meanwhile, Patrick joined Great American’s AgriBusiness Division in 2015 as Divisional Vice President, where he oversaw underwriting and processing. Most recently he served as Divisional Vice President within the division, overseeing the Farm operations.
Earlier this month, Great American announced that it will continue to write Kidnap & Ransom business while maintaining its relationship with Hiscox USA as they both announced an expanded collaboration, along with Control Risks.
