Hamilton appoints Michael Papamichael to lead corporate strategy

Hamilton Insurance Group, the Bermuda-based re/insurance holding company, has appointed Michael Papamichael as Senior Vice President (SVP) for Strategy & Corporate Development.

michael-papamichaelHe joins Hamilton from Sirius Global Services, where he most recently served as SVP, Global Planning Officer & Investor Relations and was responsible for strategic planning, acquisition modelling, due diligence and project management

In his new role, Papamichael will drive the implementation of Hamilton’s corporate strategy, reporting to Hamilton Group’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Pina Albo, and working with the group executive team across business units.

Papamichael joined Sirius as an analyst in 2002 and oversaw the global planning, capital management, and rating agency coordination for the operational subsidiaries of Sirius Group.

“As we execute our strategy for profitable growth, we need someone dedicated to evaluating which opportunities align with our mission and culture as well as our other strategic objectives,” said Albo.
