Primary commercial specialist HDI Global SE has announced a series of key changes to its board.
Dr Mukadder Erdönmez has been appointed by the Supervisory Board as the Board Member with responsibility for the Liability Division.
Erdönmez will take over responsibility for the Liability Division from Jens Wohlthat who now wishes to concentrate entirely on business in Asia, Africa, Russia and the Middle East.
Erdönmez is currently responsible for international liability business at AXA XL in the regions Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Prior to his present role, he was responsible for global liability business for small and mid-sized companies at XL Insurance as Chief Underwriting Officer over a period of several years
Furthermore, Frank Harting is stepping down from the Management Board on the best of terms and by mutual agreement because he would like to take on new career challenges.
Harting hands over the mantle of responsibility to industrial insurance expert Andreas Luberichs.
Until 2019, Luberichs was the Executive President Europe and Chief Underwriting Officer, and Member of the Management Board at MS Amlin SE.
Prior to that he held various positions including Head of European Property Insurance at Chubb.
