Milliman appoints Junaidi Amin as head of life insurance consulting in Indonesia

Consulting and actuarial firm Milliman has appointed Junaidi Amin as head of life insurance consulting in Indonesia.

Milliman_LogoA statement from the firm said Amin moved into his role earlier this week. He will be based in Jakarta and joins the firm after leading actuarial and risk teams at multinational insurers and consulting firms in Indonesia since 2011.

Prior to that, he spent fifteen years in various roles in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Richard Holloway, managing director for South-East Asia and India, life at Milliman, said: “We are delighted to welcome Junaidi to lead our growing team supporting the rapidly evolving Indonesia market. Junaidi’s expertise, knowledge of the local market, and depth of industry experience in Indonesia and Europe will help us meet the evolving needs of our clients and expand our talented team in Jakarta as we further our commitment towards Indonesia.”

Amin’s LinkedIn profile states that he has had numerous stints at major financial firms since 1996, when he began his career at Indonesiche Overzeese Bank. After over four years in that firm, he moved on to subsequent roles at Hewitt (before it became part of Aon), ING, AXA Indonesia, Astra Aviva Life, Chubb Life Indonesia, and EY.
