The annual Rendez-Vous de Septembre (RVS) in Monaco is set to return as a physical conference for the first time since 2019.
The historic industry event is to take place between September 10 and 15, 2022.
According to an official statement, the decision to move forward with 2022’s edition of the Rendez-Vous de Septembre was made by board members of the RVS association, under the chairmanship of Claude Tendil and in close collaboration with the Principality of Monaco.
The association deems the event both useful and necessary enough to justify the decision to move forward with an in-person event in 2022 and cited the volume of industry testimonials in favour of the idea.
This year’s edition was called off in March due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, an open letter was penned by senior members of DEVK Re, Gossmann & Cie, and TigerRisk Partners calling on the re/insurance industry to move forward with its Monte Carlo agendas via digital tools and video calls.
