Lloyd’s global insurer and reinsurer, MS Amlin Underwriting Limited (MS AUL), has announced the promotion of Rachael Wallington to Head of Specialty Reinsurance, effective November 1st, 2021.
In her new role, Wallington will report to Matthew Wilken, Head of Reinsurance, and takes on responsibility for the oversight of the Specialty Reinsurance team, which includes the agricultural, terror and nuclear classes.
She joined MS Amlin in 2015 and was integral in building the firm’s agriculture portfolio. Currently, she serves as Lead Class Underwriter for Agriculture reinsurance. In addition to this, Wallington supported a broad range of classes including Mortgage and Terrorism.
Wallington brings almost two decades of experience to her new role, having worked across the major international reinsurance hubs, including Bermuda, Singapore, and London.
