AI-driven flood insurtech Neptune Flood has announced the appointment of Matthew Duffy as Chief Risk Officer.
Duffy’s appointment comes internally, having spent the last eighteen months as Neptune’s Director of Risk Management & Internal Audit.
Prior to this, he worked for eight years at Bank OZK and its predecessor, C1 Bank, in a variety of risk roles.
These included Enterprise Risk Officer, and ultimately Executive Vice President, Director of Enterprise Technology Solutions.
As a risk professional, Duffy holds credentials that include, Certified Internal Auditor, Financial Risk Manager, Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute–Risk Management Professional, and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
In addition, Duffy was named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2020 and is a graduate of Eckerd College, where he earned All-American honours.
He is also a former professional soccer player for Carlisle United F.C. in England.
