SCHUMANN, a leading risk management advisor for trade credit and surety business, has announced that it is launching a dedicated and permanent London presence with a brace of senior appointments and the launch of a London office.
After more than twenty-five years trading from its German headquarters, SCHUMANN International Limited will provide its advice and software solutions directly to global financial and insurance markets.
SCHUMANN International Limited will be led by an experienced leadership team of market veterans, including Mike Holley, director of SCHUMANN International Limited and former CEO of Equinox Global.
Also joining the leadership team is Marian Berden, newly appointed permanent SCHUMANN International representative in London and expert business analyst.
Berden joins the SCHUMANN senior leadership team with more than eighteen years of experience within the credit risk markets on both the economic analysis and underwriting side.
She has held previous senior risk roles in the London teams of Atradius Special Products, Axis, Equinox and Nexus Underwriting Ltd. Berden began her career as an intern at the Dutch Central Bank in 2004, before joining the Dutch Finance Ministry in 2005 as a political risk advisor.

In addition, also joining the leadership team for SCHUMANN International Limited is Robert Meters, director of SCHUMANN International Limited and Head of Global Business and Financial Services at SCHUMANN with 13 years of senior roles at SCHUMANN and since 1994 in the trade credit industry.
At the same time, joining the leadership team is Stefan Schubert, director of SCHUMANN International Limited member of the SCHUMANN board, who has held a series of senior roles over his 23 years at the company, and Evgeny Kulyushin, member of the SCHUMANN board, at SCHUMANN for more than 15 years.
