Strategic Risk Solutions, a provider of insurance management and consulting services, has expanded to Guernsey, with the appointment of Peter Child as its Managing Director.
He will take up his post in July, assuming responsibility for the development and oversight of SRS’s business.
Child began his insurance career nearly 30 years ago, working in data analysis, sales and underwriting before returning to his home in Guernsey to take up the position of Assistant Director of the Insurance Division of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Since then Child has worked for Aon and Artex, as well as becoming the representative body for Guernsey’s insurance companies and insurance managers, and is current Chair of GIIA’s Market Development Committee.
