24th June 2021 - Author: Katie Baker

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has appointed Maxime Schons as Managing Director, European Finance and Compliance, in the company’s office in Luxembourg.

SRSSchons will join SRS in September and will also serve on the Executive Committee of its Europe Operations where he will be appointed to the SRS Europe Board of Directors.

He comes to SRS from Risk and Reinsurance Solutions SA where he has been Chief Operating Officer for the past five years.

Schons ran mandates as licensed manager and/or director for a significant number of reinsurance captives in Luxembourg and France.

Prior to that position, he was Financial Controller for PayPal Europe, Treasury Manager at Eurowatt HQ, and a senior manager in Big4.

SRS President and CEO Brady Young commented: “We are delighted to welcome Maxime to SRS. He adds strong compliance and operational expertise in Luxembourg and across our European operations and will be a key member of our European team.

“While Maxime will be placed in Luxembourg, his role has a pan European focus. We are seeing strong growth in Europe, both in new formations and takeovers, and the continued addition of senior personnel in our European domiciles is in response to the demand.

“Delivering superior client service, particularly during periods of growth, has been a hallmark of SRS. We intend to continue this approach in Europe with the addition of high quality expertise in the local domiciles to meet our growing client servicing needs.”
