International Managing General Agent (MGA) and Lloyd’s Syndicate, Volante Global, has appointed Aaron Brockwell as Head of Outwards Reinsurance, a newly created position.
Brockwell has over twenty years of experience in Lloyd’s and the London market.
In his new role, he will reportedly design and purchase optimal reinsurance solutions across Volante Global.
Reporting directly to Roshni Lillies, the Syndicate’s CUO & Active Underwriter, the firm explained that Brockwell will play a pivotal role in ensuring it builds a solid operational infrastructure to support and future-proof our reinsurance business.
Commenting on his new position, Brockwell said, “I’m excited to contribute to developing a strong outward reinsurance placement and operational framework at Volante Global. It’s a fantastic opportunity that I’m grateful to be part of.”
In related news, Volante Global recently named Martin Reith as interim Chief Executive Officer. At the time, the firm stated that Reith’s appointment aligns with its growth plan for Syndicate 1699.
