US specialty insurance brokerage firm Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of John Riley as Vice President (VP) within its White Plains, NY office.
As part of Alliant’s Northeast P&C team, he will service a portfolio of clients with operations in the Northeast and across the globe.
Prior to joining the company, Riley was Regional Director (Northeast) at Gallagher, where he worked for five years, before which he was a Commercial Insurance Broker at CLG Insurance.
Riley has more than two decades’ experience in the industry, and specialises in risk management for temperature sensitive goods.
“John is highly regarded for his breadth of expertise and depth of service,” said Bob Bennetsen, Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director with Alliant.
“His targeted experience in manufacturing combined with his ability to identify and mitigate international exposures will serve as a significant asset to clients across a range of industries.”
Earlier this week, Alliant also announced the formation of a new M&A unit that will provide expertise to private equity firms and alternative asset investors.
