Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of industry veteran, Doug Pera, as Executive Vice President and Director within its Alliant Americas division.
Based in Richmond, Virginia, Pera brings to his new role over three decades of experience in the insurance brokerage industry.
Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of senior roles including production, segment and geographic leadership and strategy development.
Prior to joining Alliant, Pera served as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Risk and Broking in the Southeast Region for WTW, where he served for over 13 years.
Most recently, he led the retail insurance brokerage operations in Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, with a focus on growth, clients and talent acquisition and development.
Before joining WTW, Pera was Resident Managing Director at Aon, a role he held for three years, and a Managing Director for Marsh for seven years.
