Global insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon has appointed Viviana Martinez as Director, Facultative Reinsurance – MENA, based in Dubai.
In her new role, Martinez will lead facultative reinsurance solutions for clients across the MENA region, supporting cedants and insurers with tailored, technical placements across key lines of business. She will focus on building strong relationships with regional and global markets to deliver capacity and innovative structures.
Martinez has spent nearly 15 years at Aon, most recently serving as Commercial Network Leader for EMEA within the Aon Global Broking Centre, where she led the strategic growth of its international property team.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Martinez said “After 15 great years in the London Insurance Market with Aon’s Global Broking Centre – where I learned, grew and had the privilege of working with amazing colleagues – I’ve now moved to Dubai to take on a new challenge as Director, Facultative Reinsurance – MENA Region.
“I’m proud to be part of this dynamic and growing market, and I look forward to bringing my London and International market experience to support clients and partners across the region.”
