The Board of Directors of global insurance and reinsurance broking group, Aon, has approved an extension of President and Chief Executive officer (CEO), Greg Case’s employment agreement through December 31st, 2030.
Case has been with the broking giant for more than 21 years, having joined the firm as President and CEO in April 2005, succeeding Patrick Ryan, who served as Aon’s CEO since its founding.
Prior to Aon, Case spent 17 years with McKinsey & Company, an American multinational strategy and management consulting firm, where he led the Global Insurance and Financial Services Practice.
Case’s employment agreement with Aon was scheduled to end on April 1st, 2028, but the Board has now approved an extension to the end of 2030.
He is also a member of Aon’s Board of Directors and the Governance/Nominating Committee’s People and Wellbeing Sub-Committee of the firm’s Board of Directors.
At the 2026 annual general meeting of the shareholders of Aon and each subsequent annual general meeting of shareholders of the company during the term of his employment agreement, Case will be nominated for re-election as a member of the Board.
