Insurance and reinsurance provider, Arch Capital Group Ltd.’s subsidiary, Arch Insurance Group, Inc., has bolstered its Travel business division with a number of new appointments, effective June 5th, 2017.
Both Cory Sobczyk and Dan Povondra have joined Arch as Vice Presidents of Business Development, while Lynn Barty has joined the firm as Regional Sales Director. The three bring a combined 40 years of industry experience to Arch, and will work with the existing Travel sales team members, which includes Greg Johnson, who joined the company earlier in 2017.
Both Sobczyk and Povondra will report to Senior Vice President of Travel, Linda Fallon.
Fallon, commented on the new additions; “We are excited to add Dan, Cory and Lynn to our team at a time when the industry is seeing overall expansion and shifts in the competitive landscape. Their decades of experience and demonstrated business development success will help to further strengthen our market position and that of our Arch Insurance Solutions and RoamRight brands.”

Arch’s full service distribution company, Arch Insurance Solutions, first entered the travel insurance industry in 2012, and has since experienced impressive and rapid growth.
