Arch Insurance International has announced the promotion of Tim Watson to the position of Credit Underwriting Manager, effective immediately.
In his new role, Watson will oversee all credit-related underwriting activities within the Credit & Political Risk portfolio.
This includes non-payment and non-delivery coverages, as well as the complete range of political risk insurance. Based in London, he will report directly to Ed Cornish, Head of Credit & Political Risk.
Watson joined Arch in 2021 as a Senior Credit & Political Risk Underwriter. Before that, he held the role of Credit & Political Risk Underwriter at Canopius.
In addition to his professional achievements, Watson serves as Chair of the International Underwriting Association of London’s Political Risks Committee.
Cornish added: “Tim is a recognised expert in his field and has contributed significantly to the growth of our portfolio in recent years. He has continued to demonstrate his leadership skills and depth of broker relationships, and in his new role, will play a central part in delivering on our ambitions both for the credit sector and wider portfolio.”
