Argenta Lloyd’s Syndicate 2121 has appointed a team of underwriters to help develop a book of casualty business.
Argenta Holdings Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hannover Re, is an underwriting and insurance services group operating in the Lloyd’s Market.
Bradley Knight will lead the 15-member team and is supported by class underwriters Hugh Sprowson, Andy Palmer, Matt Waghorn, Ken Rowlands and Duncan King. He will report to Active Underwriter, Ian Maguire.
They arrive from Vibe Syndicate 5678, which was placed into run-off last year, and are expected to attract gross written premium of around £130 million in 2020.
“The addition of this respected and experienced team of underwriters is a core component of Argenta’s strategy for growing the overall business and further developing the balance and diversification of the portfolio,” said Andrew Annandale, Managing Director of ASML and Chief Executive Officer of Argenta Holdings Ltd.
