Atrium, a specialty insurer operating at Lloyd’s, has announced the appointment of Hayley Budd as Head of Innovation, a newly created role that aims to drive the company’s strategic transformation.
Budd will take responsibility for leading innovation, working with Atrium’s market-leading underwriting teams to transform existing business lines to meet emerging customer needs.
She will also seek out and develop new partnerships, opportunities, and products to support the firm’s strategic agenda.
This new Head of Innovation position is designed to capitalise on Atrium’s strong reputation for profitable underwriting, enabling the company to create novel products and solutions for the global re/insurance market.
Bringing over twenty years of re/insurance experience, Budd will be joining Atrium in Q3 2026 from Apollo, ibott 1971, where she worked as Class Leader for Innovation. Prior to this, she worked at Swiss Re and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
