Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a provider of commercial property, casualty, and specialty insurance solutions, has appointed Louise Kidd as the new Head of Underwriting for Europe.
With over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, Kidd is well-equipped to lead BHSI’s underwriting strategy across the region.
Kidd joined BHSI in 2020 as the Head of Third-Party Lines in Ireland. Her career with the company quickly advanced, leading to her promotion as Country Manager for Ireland and Global Financial Lines Underwriting Officer.
In her expanded role, Kidd will continue overseeing global financial lines underwriting while also taking on additional responsibility for the company’s underwriting operations throughout Europe. She will remain based in Dublin.
