Global reinsurer AmericanAg has appointed Dawn Rizzi as Assistant Vice President – Underwriting/Marketing.
Within this role, she will hold responsibility for underwriting a portion of the reinsurers Broker Assumed portfolio, including international treaty business in the UK, Latin America, and Central-Eastern Europe regions.
Rizzi joins AmericanAg from EMC Reinsurance Company, where she served for 16 years in a variety of reinsurance underwriting roles. In her most recent role at the firm, she served as Assistant Vice President, Reinsurance Business Development.
When she first joined the company, she held the role of Senior Reinsurance Underwriter for over 13 years, before later being promoted to Assistant Secretary.
Additionally Rizzi’s prior experience also includes 12 years serving as an Associate Broker for Willis Re.
