Davies, a professional services and technology specialist, has announced the promotion of Dhara Patel to CEO of its North American business, succeeding Matt Button.
Button, who has been with Davies for nearly a decade, served as CEO of Davies North America since July 2023. Earlier this year, he was promoted to Group Deputy CEO.
In her new role, Patel will oversee Davies’ operations and sales teams across the U.S. and Canada, managing nearly $500 million in annual revenue.
Davies’ North American business provides claims administration, actuarial, and risk management services to insurers, brokers, MGAs, Lloyd’s Syndicates, Captives, Corporates, and the Public Sector. Patel will focus on client service while driving plans to expand the firm’s capabilities and solutions in the region.
Working alongside Button and Group CEO Dan Saulter, Patel will also lead the delivery and implementation of Davies’ suite of agentic AI technology across its claims processing platforms, aimed at enhancing efficiency and delivering greater value for clients.
With 25 years of experience in insurance claims and professional services, Patel has held multiple senior roles including Services Segment President at Brown & Brown and President of the International Association of Claims Professionals (IACP) from 2022 to 2023. She joined Davies in 2023 following its acquisition of ACM, USIS, PGCS, and ICA.
