EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, a US-based retail property and casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Sean Jackson as Managing Principal and Global Leader.
In this newly elevated role, Jackson will work to strengthen relationships with international broker partners and drive deeper collaboration between US and global markets to better support EPIC’s multinational clients.
Jackson said: “I’m excited by the opportunity to deliver differentiated value to our clients. Joining this team enhances our ability to leverage EPIC’s international broker relationships and more effectively deliver that expertise to both our US-based clients and our international clients with US needs.
“This means we can increase efficiencies and seamlessly combine our extensive experience and capabilities in the US with specialised knowledge in the regions where our clients conduct business globally.”
The firm already works closely with a global network of brokers to meet cross-border client needs. Jackson will now focus on enhancing those partnerships and leveraging local expertise to deliver tailored, client-first risk solutions around the world.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sean to our growing team that manages global relations,” added Scott Davis, EPIC National Specialties.
“Sean’s extensive experience and innovative approach make him the ideal candidate to lead our global strategy. We are confident his leadership will add to our ability to meet the evolving needs of our clients worldwide.”
“The main advantage of this approach is the ability to create a multinational service platform that provides customised service to our clients with very specific needs around the globe,” continued Jackson.
“Those needs may vary based on international requirements, and the ability to incorporate local specialists into an integrated service experience to ensure our clients get the coverage they need based on the countries or regions where they do business.”
Jackson further added: “Our clients’ needs are our top priority, which requires the most efficient and effective application of risk and insurance expertise precisely when and where they need it the most.”
“We expect Sean’s appointment will bring increased awareness to EPIC’s global reach and provide a significant component to EPIC’s global strategy. The complex changes we are seeing with our clients’ risk, wherever they do business, requires customised solutions and specialised experience,” said Davis.
