Howden, a global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has announced the appointment of Eugene Lim as Head of Tax Insurance, Asia.
In his new role, Lim will lead Howden’s tax advisory and insurance capabilities across the region, working with clients to address complex tax risk considerations across transactions, restructurings, and ongoing operations.
His role will focus on bringing practical, commercially minded solutions to clients navigating increasingly complex tax environments in Asia.
Lim is joining Howden from Marsh Asia, where he most recently served as Head of Tax Risk – Asia, SVP – Private Equity and M&A Services.
Prior to that, he was a Senior Tax Manager in PwC Singapore’s Real Estate and Hospitality Practice, with over 10 years of experience advising on fund structuring and tax optimisation for real estate and infrastructure investments across Asia-Pacific.
Commenting on Lim’s recent appointment, a Howden spokesperson stated: “His experience will be an important addition to our Asia platform, and we look forward to the expertise and leadership he brings to Howden.”
