Former T-Mobile CFO Braxton Carter joins Assurant’s Board of Directors

J. Braxton Carter, former Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for T-Mobile US, Inc., has joined Assurant, Inc.’s Board of Directors, serving on the Board’s Audit Committee.

Braxton CarterWhile at T-Mobile, Carter led the financial organisation for almost a decade, until his retirement from the firm on July 1st, 2020.

Prior to T-Mobile, he served as the CFO and Vice Chairman for MetroPCS until it was acquired by T-Mobile in 2013. During his time with MetroPCS, Carter also served as Vice President of Corporate Operations, prior to his promotion to CFO.

Previously, he has held senior finance leadership roles with PrimeCo Personal Communications (now Verizon Wireless) and Neostar Retail Group (now GameStop). He started his career in Audit for Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
