The Fidelis Partnership (TFP), a privately-owned managing general underwriter (MGU), has strengthened its team with the appointment of Henning Schuemmer as a Senior Marine Underwriter.
Schuemmer will be based in Dublin, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in the marine sector, encompassing both broking and underwriting.
His extensive knowledge of the European Hull market and strong client network are expected to be key assets as TFP strategically expands its EEA portfolio.
The executive is joining TFP from Allianz Esa EuroShip GmbH, where he most recently served as Senior Underwriter Marine Hull. Prior to that he was part of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), working as an Underwriter Marine Hull.
Throughout his career, Schuemmer has held roles in Junge & Co. Versicherungsmakler GmbH, Georg Duncker Marine Insurance Brokers, R+V Versicherung, and the Bradford & Bingley Group.
