Insurance broker Lockton has announced that Eric Braverman and Eric Bill are joining the firm to build out its Lawyers Professional Liability Practice.
Braverman is reportedly joining as Senior Vice President, Professional Services Practice Leader, while Bill is joining as Senior Account Executive.
As per Lockton, Braverman will report to Chris Casper, Managing Director for Lockton’s Midwest Financial Services business, and Bill will report to Braverman. They are both based in Chicago.

Braverman brings two decades of experience to Lockton, most recently serving as a Managing Director at Aon. Lockton noted that he has a proven track record of leadership and skill in all aspects of securing legal malpractice, employment practices liability and management liability insurance for large law firms.
Commenting on the new role, Braverman said, “I knew Lockton was the place where we could build a team that brings innovative risk solutions to law firms. Lockton’s depth of resources paired with its private ownership means we can create something special that will last into the future.”
Meanwhile, as a specialty lines insurance professional, Lockton explained that Bill brings a wealth of experience in providing customised risk management solutions to leading law, accounting and consulting firms.
He joins Lockton from Aspen Insurance Group, where he held the position of Assistant Vice President. He was previously a Senior Vice President and Executive Director at Aon.
