Lockton, the world’s largest privately held independent insurance brokerage firm, has announced the appointment of Greg Spore as the new U.S. Financial Services Markets Leader.
This strategic addition reinforces Lockton’s unwavering commitment to innovation, expansion, and unparalleled client service within critical financial sectors.

In his new role, Greg Spore will assume the responsibility of driving successful client outcomes and strategic expansion alongside Lockton’s insurer partners, with a specific focus on financial, professional, and cyber risks.
He will forge a close collaboration with Lockton’s analytics team to devise effective strategies for Lockton Financial Services and the Cyber & Technology Practice. Greg Spore will be based in the vibrant city of Chicago.

With an impressive 34-year tenure in the insurance industry, Spore stands as a distinguished figure in the realm of financial lines. Prior to his appointment at Lockton, Spore held significant leadership roles at prestigious organisations.
Notably, he served as the Financial Lines Center of Excellence Leader at Guy Carpenter and previously held the position of U.S. FINPRO Placement Leader at Marsh. His responsibilities encompassed overseeing premium across diverse product lines, including directors and officers liability (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), and cyber. In addition, Spore spearheaded analytics initiatives and provided strategic guidance to clients on intricate placements and claims.
