Novoa named Country President of Chubb in Panama and Central America

US insurer Chubb has announced the appointment of Diego Novoa as Country President of Chubb in Panama and Central America, succeeding Xavier Pazmiño, who will take on the role of EVP Marine COG.

ChubbNovoa brings over 19 years of experience in the financial services sector to his new position. During his more than 14 years at Chubb, the executive has demonstrated exceptional strategic leadership and business acumen.

In his most recent role as VP of Mergers and Acquisitions LATAM, his ability to drive key initiatives has been fundamental to the growth and development of Chubb’s operations in the region, the insurer noted.

Novoa initially joined Chubb in 2011 and has held a number of positions increasing in responsibility ever since. Prior to Chubb he spent three years at HSBC Bank Peru.

“We are confident that, in this new phase, Diego will continue to guide the team in Panama toward achieving new goals. We wish him every success in this important professional endeavour,” a Chubb spokesperson stated.
