Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm and a business of Marsh McLennan, has announced a collaboration agreement with AKA Consulting, an actuarial and risk consulting firm based in the Cayman Islands.
Through this collaboration, Oliver Wyman aims to better serve its clients doing business in the Cayman Islands by combining AKA Consulting’s on-island talent that possesses deep local market and regulatory experience with its global expertise.
Oliver Wyman is one of largest global actuarial practices. Supported by Marsh McLennan, the company’s actuarial consulting practice advises clients and assesses risk across three primary areas – life, property & casualty and healthcare markets.

AKA Consulting is led by Alvin Kwong, a veteran actuary with almost two decades of experience in the insurance sector in North America and the Cayman Islands.
The firm offers a range of capabilities including actuarial pricing and reserving as well as US GAAP and IFRS accounting insights.
