Orion180 hires The Hartford’s DiMartino as Chief Underwriting Officer

Insurance solutions provider Orion180 has announced the appointment of Chris DiMartino, former The Hartford executive, as Chief Underwriting Officer.

In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of underwriting, product development and management across its surplus and personal lines of business.

With 27 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, DiMartino brings expertise in underwriting, actuarial science, and product management.

His background includes serving as senior vice president of insurance services at AAA Northeast and over two decades in leadership positions at The Hartford, most recently serving as Head of Product for their $3 billion personal lines division.

Additionally, Orion180 Chief Operations Officer (COO) Ryan Jesenik has been promoted to President, Insurance.

In this expanded role, Jesenik will retain his responsibilities as COO while also leading growth strategy, ensuring daily operations align seamlessly with the company’s long-term goals.
