Margaret Rose has been appointed to the role of Deputy Global Line Head – Cyber and Head of Cyber, Americas, at French reinsurer, SCOR.
Based in New York, Rose has been with SCOR since 2016.
When she joined the firm, she took on the role of Senior Underwriter within Professional Lines & Cyber, SCOR Specialty Insurance.
Fast-forward to 2019, she was then promoted to Vice President, Head of Americas, Professional Lines & Cyber, SCOR Specialty Insurance.
Prior to joining the French reinsurer, Rose spent just over four years serving as a Senior Underwriter at AXIS Capital.
In this role, she heavily focused on professional liability for companies in the construction industry across the United States.
Before that, she spent over five years working at HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (Tokio Marine), as an Underwriter.
During her time at the firm, she focused on directors & officers (D&O) for non profit organisations and professional liability for architects & engineers within the small-t0-medium enterprises (SME) space.
In related news, SCOR recently signed a 15-year lease for around 50,000 sq. ft office space with Mitsubishi Estate London and Stanhope.
The firm will take up over two and a half floors at one of London’s most sought-after office buildings, 8 Bishopsgate.
