Verisk names Tim Rayner as CEO of General Insurance for UK&I and SBS

Verisk, a global data analytics and technology provider to the insurance industry, has announced the expansion of Tim Rayner’s responsibilities to include leadership of its underwriting and claims businesses in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as its global Life, Health and Travel business.

Verisk logoIn addition, Rayner will continue to oversee the Specialty Business Solutions (SBS) division, which he has served as Chief Executive Officer since July 2022.

The alignment of these business units under Rayner’s leadership is intended to strengthen Verisk’s relationships with clients and partners by anticipating their needs and accelerating innovation.

Rayner brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience. He joined Verisk in 2018 as Business Development Director and has since held leadership roles of increasing responsibility.

Prior to that, he spent 18 years at independent specialist re/insurance broking firm Miller, most recently serving as Head of Group Operations.
