WISE Insurance Services Co., Ltd., a Korean insurance and reinsurance advisory and brokerage firm, has implemented a restructuring of its Reinsurance Team, effective January 1st, 2026.
As part of this restructure, the Reinsurance Team has been renamed the R&S (Reinsurance & Specialty) Team. This move aims to support WISE’s next phase of sustainable growth.
The team now comprises two dedicated parts: Reinsurance and Specialty. Won Lee will serve as Head of Reinsurance & Specialty, leading the overall team.
Yubeom (YB) Kim will lead the reinsurance team and continue to focus on the broker’s core reinsurance business, including Treaty and Cedant Facultative.
Meanwhile, JB Cheong will lead the specialty segment, initially concentrating on Celltrion Inc-related specialty business, including Group PA and TPA services, with a clear roadmap for future expansion to other prospective clients.
WISE has strengthened its capabilities by hiring a Cargo & Logistics specialist while an experienced Group PA specialist has joined the team internally to support this structure.
