Acrisure expands insurance leadership team

Fintech firm Acrisure has expanded its insurance leadership team.

acrisure-logoThe firm said in a statement that the updated team includes Matthew Kirk, president for North American retail; Andy Schutt, head of global insurance operations; and Bob Arowood, president for north American P&C wholesale.

It also includes Steve Brown, head of private risk advisors; Jason Howard, president for international; Seth Denson, head of employee benefits; and Mike Natalizio, head of partner engagement and transition.

All of them will report to Grahame Millwater, president of global insurance at the firm.

Greg Williams, cofounder, chairman, and CEO of Acrisure, said: “I commend Grahame for building a leadership team that represents deep expertise across all areas of the insurance value chain, along with deep knowledge of our culture, values, and ecosystem given most are from our network of Partners.”

He added: “As the world’s 5th largest insurance broker, and as a fintech with a robust product offering, having a leadership team that personifies all these characteristics is important to powering the next phase of our growth. This team will drive strategic areas such as operational excellence, technology deployment and adoption, and premium placement reflective of the scale and breadth of the Company.”

Talking about the individuals joining its team, Acrisure laid out their careers and roles.

Kirk, it said, joined Acrisure in 2022 from The Hartford. Schutt, meanwhile, is a former partner in the firm. Arowood also joined in 2022, while Denson joined in 2019 and Brown in 2021. Howard, joined the firm through the acquisition of Beach & Associates. Natalizio also came to the firm through an acquisition, this time of HNI Risk Services in 2019.
