Global Fintech company Acrisure has launched a new division integrating its wholesale property and casualty businesses under the new brand “Wholesure.”
This division will include Wholesure, MGAs and Programs, Third-party Administrators, Individual and Group Benefit Solutions, and various specialty businesses such as Aerospace, Trade Credit and Captives.
The division will report to Grahame Millwater, Vice Chairman of Global Markets and International.
On top of his role of overseeing all of Acrisure’s International and Reinsurance businesses and relationships with global carriers, Millwater will also lead Acrisure’s Wholesale and Specialty business.
Millwater commented, “Just as we are doing with the Acrisure branded retail businesses, under the Wholesure brand we are bringing together some unique wholesale and MGA/Program businesses with incredible entrepreneurial and experienced leadership.
“I am looking forward to working closely with Bob, Brian and the rest of the team to rapidly develop and grow what already is one of the largest wholesale businesses in North America.”
Bob Arowood will work alongside Millwater in a strategic advisory role. Arowood was the founder and President of Appalachian Underwriters, a business acquired by Acrisure in 2021. The firm added, “Bob’s deep experience and relationships in wholesale and MGAs/Programs will prove invaluable support to Grahame and the rest of the team.”
Wholesure’s P&C business will be led by Brian Fischer who has been named as the Managing Director, Wholesure P&C and Head of Growth, Central Region and will be supported by an experienced team of professionals.
This team includes John Donahue serving as the Head of Growth, Western Region along with Michael Demetriou, Head of Growth, Eastern Region. Other members of the leadership team include Robb Williams, Head of Brokerage, Rhonda Henze, Head of Contract Binding and John Bures, Head of Cornerstone Underwriting Partners.
In February, Acrisure established its Southeast Region led by Dave Hoover, which is expected to be the firm’s largest Region by revenue.
