Acrisure Re, the re/insurance division of global fintech company Acrisure, has announced the promotion of Daniel Bruno to Global Head of Actuarial.
In this new role, Bruno will unify Acrisure Re’s actuarial resources across New York, London, Toronto, and Bermuda, further strengthening the company’s global platform and commitment to technical excellence and client partnership.
“Daniel has played a pivotal role in advancing our actuarial capabilities globally through his technical expertise, commercial acumen, and collaborative leadership,” an Acrisure Re spokesperson commented.
Adding: “His promotion reflects both his exceptional contributions and the increasingly strategic role actuarial plays in supporting clients and partners while driving our global growth.”
Bruno joined Acrisure Re in 2020 as SVP – Analytics. He subsequently served as SVP – Head of North America Analytics, and then was appointed Partner – Head of North America Analytics, his most recent role before his promotion.
He joined Acrisure Re from The Hartford, where he served a four-year tenure, first as Director & Assistant Actuary and later as Director & Actuary.
Prior to that, the executive spent a few years at Deloitte Consulting. During his time there, he served as an Actuarial Analyst, Actuarial Consultant and Actuarial Senior Consultant.
