Advantage Insurance Inc. has announced the appointment of Tamara K. Kravec as its new Chief Financial officer (CFO), as well as the addition of Colin Devine to its Board of Directors.
Kravec will have responsibility for the firm’s financial reporting, corporate development, corporate strategy, treasury, and also investor relations activities. She has served as a consultant to the firm since August, 2017, and will be based in the company’s San Juan office.
Most recently, Kravec was the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BWT Consulting, LLC, and before this was a Partner, Managing Director, and Senior Equity Research Analyst at NWQ Investment Management. She has also worked at Banc of America Securities, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Commenting on her new position, Kravec said; “I am excited to be joining Advantage Insurance at a time when it is poised for significant growth. Advantage has a strong specialty insurance business combined with a differentiated approach to investing, which is well matched to my background and experience. I look forward to making a significant leadership contribution to the ongoing and future success of the company.”

Devine, a strategic advisor to insurance and investment management companies with extensive insurance industry experience, joins the firm’s Board of Directors. He previously led Citigroup’s North American life insurance research, and prior to this was a Director in Standard & Poor’s credit ratings group.
