American International Group (AIG), a global insurance company, has appointed Torben Schwierzke as the new Head of Casualty for the DACH region, overseeing the company’s Casualty business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Schwierzke is a highly experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully managing teams across all DACH geographies.
His expertise in Casualty and strong market connections make him an invaluable asset to the company.
In his new role, Schwierzke will work closely with his teams to continue delivering significant value to AIG’s partners and clients, focusing on product development, underwriting expertise, thought leadership, and service excellence.
Schwierzke will also join the Casualty EMEA leadership team and, as his successor in the DACH region, will represent Casualty on Dr. Dennis Froneberg’s DACH Senior Leadership Team.
