AIG launches suite of app-based travel solutions

AIG Singapore has partnered with Australia-based payments platform provider United Networks to offer its travel insurance customers global wifi connectivity and access to an app-based SOS emergency product that supplies users with updates on significant natural and man-made unfolding nearby in realtime.

AIG Logo“We are pleased to be working with AIG Singapore’s customers to offer both connectivity to the United network as well as our proprietary value-add Insurtech SOS Solutions,” said Anthony Ghattas, Chairman of United Networks.

Eligible policyholders will gain access to over 63 million hotspots globally for the term of their travel insurance policy via the United Networks app.

As well as providing information on major threats and incidents around the world, SOS Alerts enables users to stay connected to loved ones with automatic messages and updates.
