International insurance brokerage firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced the acquisition of Harden & Associates, Inc., a full-service insurance broker headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
With additional offices in Amelia Island and Tampa, Harden offers retail property/casualty, employee benefits and related services to businesses and individuals primarily in Florida,
In particular, the business focuses on the healthcare, real estate and construction industries.
Following the acquisition, the team will continue to operate from their current locations, led by M.C. Harden III.
They will operate under the direction of Peter Doyle, head of Gallagher’s Southeast region retail property/casualty brokerage operations, and John Tournet, head of Gallagher’s Southeast region employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
“Harden will further strengthen our healthcare and real estate practices in the Southeast, as well as expand our presence in North Florida and along the East Coast of Florida and Georgia,” said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., Chairman, President and CEO.
