Alberto Gallego named Head of Iberia, Willis Towers Watson

International insurance and reinsurance brokerage, Willis Towers Watson, has announced the appointment of Alberto Gallego as its new Head of Iberia, effective January 1st, 2018.

Willis logoGallego will be based in Madrid and will lead the business in both Spain and Portugal. He joined Willis Towers Watson in 1990 and has held a number of roles with the broker, including Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Iberia from 1990 to 2013, when he was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Western Europe.

Gallego will replace Anton Serrats, who will take on the role of Vice President (VP) of Willis Towers Watson Iberia.

Alberto will draw on his extensive local and global experience to lead further growth and expansion in this important market. He will also continue to drive revenues across the Western Europe region as the leader of Corporate Risk and Broking.
