Root, an end-to-end digital insurance platform, has hired Alex Astengo as UK Country Manager, where he will be based in London.
Astengo brings significant experience in working for SaaS platform-based businesses which offer solutions to insurers, MGAs and brokers, towards his new role.
He most recently served as Head of Sales in the UK for Cloud Insurance.
In addition, he also previously served as Chief Commercial Officer for SchemeServe Insurance Software.
As UK Country Manager for Root, Astengo is expected to play a key role in developing the firm’s presence across the country.
