Allianz Commercial has recently announced the appointment of industry veteran Vanessa Maxwell as Global Head of Cyber, alongside her current role as Global Head of Financial Lines.
In this dual capacity, Maxwell will report directly to Shanil Williams, Chief Underwriting Officer at Allianz Commercial.
She will oversee Cyber and Financial Lines as separate Lines of Business, recognising their significant interplay within the broader insurance market.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Maxwell brings extensive expertise to her expanded role.
Maxwell joined Allianz Commercial two years ago, following a tenure at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance where she most recently served as Country Manager, UK.
She also spent over a decade in various senior roles at global insurer AIG, and previously worked for seven years at Lexington Insurance Company, an AIG subsidiary.
