Allianz Holdings appointed Serge Raffard as the new personal managing director, following the recent news of Steve Treloar deciding to step down.
Treloar has decided to leave the business to pursue new opportunities.
Raffard will join at the beginning of July and report to Colm Holmes, CEO of Allianz Holdings.
Raffard joined Allianz in 2018 and currently holds the position of group strategy, marketing, and distribution officer.
Before this role, he served as the group strategy officer. During his tenure at Allianz, he effectively spearheaded the formulation and implementation of the company’s strategy, resulting in Allianz becoming the top-ranked insurer globally according to Interbrand’s Best Global Brands Ranking.
Prior to joining Allianz, Raffard gained professional experience at various other organisations such as MetLife, McKinsey, and JPMorgan.
Raffard’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval, the global insurer noted.

His significant insight, knowledge and successful campaigns engaging with Allianz customers globally as well as in the UK will be an asset to us. Serge has also led both the digital marketing and behavioural economics teams for Allianz Group and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience,” commenting on Raffard’s appointment, Holmes said.
