Allianz Partners UK & Ireland has appointed Marcus Latchford as its new Chief Sales and Distribution Officer (CSO).
Within his new role, Latchford will lead both the sales and distribution teams at Allianz Partners. He will also report to Tim Tozer, CEO of UK and Ireland.
Latchford replaces Lee Taylor who is now the CEO of Benelux and the Nordics.
As CSO, Latchford will inherit a range of leading propositions and strategic relationships with partners across the corporate, automotive and travel sectors. He will also play a significant role in diversifying and profitably growing the business in its core markets.
Latchford joins the firm from RAC, where spent four years serving as the Director of RAC’s Insurance business.
Overall, Latchford brings 15 years of industry experience towards the role. During the first seven years of his career, he worked at Endsleigh Insurance, before joining Zurich Insurance to become Head of Propositions for its UK General Insurance business.
