Allied World Assurance Company has announced Jodi Garratt’s appointment to Assistant Vice President of Property in Australia.
In her new role, Garratt will focus on complementing existing local product lines with new property solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises throughout Australia; she will report to Carolyn Shreeve, Vice President and Head of Property, Asia-Pacific.
Commenting on Garratt’s appointment, Shreeve said; “Her arrival will help us to broaden and deepen our relationships with local buyers and brokers in Australia, growing our presence and bringing us closer to the market.”
Garratt is an insurance industry veteran with 17 years of professional experience in U.K. and Australia markets.
She has worked most recently with CGU Insurance based in Sydney, and has held positions with Horsell International, Price Forbes & Partners, and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
