AmericanAg, a global provider of reinsurance services, has appointed Stefan Mumm as Assistant Vice President, Underwriting/Marketing.
Within this role, Mumm will be responsible for underwriting a portion of the firm’s Broker Assumed domestic portfolio, which includes the US treaty business with broker partners in Minneapolis and Boston.
Mumm joins AmericanAg from EMC Reinsurance Company, where he spent over 12 years serving in a variety of different roles, with the most recent one being, Senior Reinsurance Account Underwriter.
Within recent years, Mumm’s reinsurance underwriting at EMC Re had a particular focus on international cedents, as he led activities in the Nordic, Western Europe & Asia Pacific regions for the company.
Prior to that, Mumm spent just under six years working as a Senior Commercial Underwriter at GuideOne Insurance.
