AmTrust International, the UK and International arm of New York-based insurer AmTrust Financial Services, has appointed Julian Millar to the role of Head of Claims for AmTrust International Specialty and Chief Claims Officer for AmTrust Europe.
Millar will be based in London and will report to Angel Mas, Specialty Business Unit Managing Director and CEO, AmTrust Europe.
With more than 25 years of claims management experience, he joins AmTrust from Travelers where he was Head of Specialty Claims.
Previously, he was Managing Director at Claimspro International, a firm of loss adjusters, and before that, Head of Property Claims at QBE European Operations.
